Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- Account info — email address, used for authentication and service emails.
- Submitted videos — stored temporarily for processing, then retained in your account storage.
- Usage data — which clips you accept or reject (used to improve ranking, not tied to your identity externally).
- Billing data — handled entirely by Stripe; we never store card numbers.
2. How we use it
We use your data to: provide and improve the Service; send transactional emails (job completions, magic-link logins); and process payments.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your videos or transcripts to train AI models.
3. Third-party services
- OpenAI — optional hosted speech-to-text (Whisper) when enabled; audio derived from your video may be sent to OpenAI's API.
- OpenRouter — clip analysis and scoring (transcript text and, when used, frames extracted from your video are sent to OpenRouter's API). If you use in-app transcript translation, the full transcript text is sent again for that request.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Clerk — optional OAuth authentication provider.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only what is necessary to perform the function.
4. Data retention
Uploaded videos and transcripts are retained until you delete them or close your account. We delete inactive free-tier data after 90 days of inactivity.
5. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by emailing hello@klyvona.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
